The best thing about attending Mount Union is that I can always get help from the professors. With the small faculty to student ratio, I am able to have one-on-one time with my professors anytime I need extra help.
Adolescence to Young Adult Education
Our adolescense to young adult education program truly sets us apart from other private colleges and universities. At Mount Union, you don't just simply major in education. Instead, you major in the field in which you intend to teach. This allows you to be more than proficient in the subject matter while receiving the hands-on experience that is critical to successful teaching. From research opportunities and class projects to student teaching and tutoring - the opportunities for real-world experience are endless.
The minor in adolescence to young adult education is administered by the Department of Education, which also offers programs in early childhood education, intervention specialist and middle childhood education as well as a minor in multiage education.
