Adult Studies Graduates Recognized at Reception

This year's adult studies graduates include Sherrie Wallace, Derek Patterson, Danielle Borsh-Vaughan and Gerald RichesonFour Mount Union College Adult Studies Program graduates were honored for their accomplishments at a reception in the East Room of Hoover-Price Campus Center on Tuesday evening.

Sherrie Wallace, a business administration major and accounting minor of Louisville, will graduate along with her daughter, Megan.  She serves as assistant to the vice president for research and information at Mount Union.

Derek Patterson, an intervention specialist major and psychology minor of Minerva, will graduate in August after being a full-time student for several years.  He will begin his clinical practice in the fall.

Danielle Borsh-Vaughan, a middle childhood education major and history minor from Minerva, completed her degree in December of 2008.  She is the mother of four and is currently doing her clinical practice this semester.

Gerald Richeson, a business administration major and German minor of Alliance, attended Kent and Akron before starting at Mount Union College in 1999.  He has made a special effort to work around his job in order to earn his degree.
