1966 Drum Major

Check out this photo of Tom Old ‘68, the 1966 drum major! The drum major serves as the top leader in the marching band, working alongside the band director on the field and in the stands. Beginning this past marching season, the drum major position marched its way back onto the field after a hiatus of more than a decade. The role is a way to give students leadership opportunities and improve the visibility of the marching band.


An Evening Honoring George Weimer Jr. ’54

On Saturday, November 15, more than 100 of George Weimer’s Sigma Nu brothers and friends surprised him with a celebratory evening to announce the establishment of the George Weimer Sigma Nu Leadership Prize. Birthday Tribute to Congressman Ralph Regula ’48

A 90th birthday tribute was held December 3 in Washington, DC to celebrate retired Congressman Ralph Regula’s commitment to public service. All contributions from the event went toward scholarships for the Regula Scholars program at Mount Union, with more than $600,000 now available for Mount Union students in Endowed Regula Scholarships.
