Annual Holiday Shutdown

The University of Mount Union is conducting its annual shutdown from 5 p.m. Thursday, December 23 through Sunday, January 2. The University will reopen on Monday, January 3.
Mount Union Campus Security will remain in force 24 hours a day during the holiday period and can be reached by cellular phone at (330) 428-1344.
The switchboard will not be staffed after 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 23 until Tuesday, December 28 at 8 a.m. A recorded message will inform callers that Mount Union is closed until December 28 and will direct the caller to the security cellular phone in case of an emergency. The switchboard will be staffed by a student worker from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28 through Thursday, December 30. After 5 p.m., callers will hear a similar recorded message directing them to campus security in case of an emergency.
The offices of Academic Affairs, Admission, University Advancement, Business Affairs, Financial Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, the Registrar and Student Affairs as well as the Center for Global Education will be closed from 5 p.m. Thursday, December 23 through Sunday, January 2. During this time, employees will periodically check voicemail and e-mail.
