Annual Special Gift Clubs Reception Held at Mount Union College
April 01, 2010
The annual special gift clubs reception was held at Mount Union College on Saturday, October 7.
The special gift clubs reception honors Mount Union alumni and friends that are members of the College's seven giving societies
Kimberly (Terrill '99) Rodstrom, director of annual giving programs, took the opportunity to thank those who helped to make the 2005-2006 Annual Fund a success.
'While the gift is very much appreciated, it is the reaction to the gift that makes it all worth while,' remarked Dr. Richard F. Giese, president of the College as he addresses the audience. 'Our get-together today is just one more way to say thanks to a collective group of people who we respect and value.'
Justin Shaub '08, an accounting and business administration major from North Canton, reflected on his experiences at Mount Union College.
'I can't leave without telling you how much of an impact you have made in making all of these things possible for me, he said. 'Because of your generosity, I have been able to benefit from the buildings, programs and so many other activities here on campus. I hope that someday I too will be able to impact the College in ways that you have.'
