Annual Student Art Exhibit will be on display March 16 through April 2

Works by Mount Union College students will be on display during the Annual Student Art Exhibit in Crandall Art Gallery Monday, March 16 through Thursday, April 2. A reception will be held Thursday, March 19 from 4-6 p.m. in Crandall Art Gallery in honor of the students and their accomplishments.

The students, representing a number of major fields of study, designed the pieces displayed in the exhibit, which include drawings, paintings, photographs, prints and sculptures.

The student artists include Coleen Archer, a senior art and media computing major from Rock Hill, South Carolina; Mari Ballentine, a senior psychology major from Canton; Candance Cheuvront, a junior art major from Minerva; Lauren Dennis, a senior art major from Sagamore Hills; Willow DiGiacomo, a junior music education major from Minerva; Alyssa Hamilton, a junior art major from East Canotn; Nichole Hare, a senior art major from Massillon; Neil Jakubowski, a junior media computing major from Valley View; Andrew Johnson, a senior mathematics major from Lisbon; Rachel Keyser, a junior self-defined interdisciplinary studies major from Cambridge; Kathleen Kovarik, a senior art and Japanese major from Copley; Abby Krahling, a sophomore biology major from Bucyrus; Makenna Lewis, a sophomore art major from Ravenna; Sarah Mickley, a senior art major from Carrollton; Rachel Miller, a freshman from Strongsville; Kelly Neale, a senior environmental biology major from Parma; Jenny Peteya, a senior art major from North Canton; Joel Price, a junior biology major from Aurora; Caitlyn Ryan, a sophomore psychology major from North Lawrence; Kaylie Seifert, a sophomore Japanese major from Barberton; Tia Smith, a junior art major from Ravenna; Kara Tomaszewski, a senior communication major from Aurora; Patricia Topper, a sophomore media computing major from Hartville; Nikki Tranchita, a senior media computing major from Chesterland; Tetsutaro Wada, a senior art major from Kanagawa, Japan and Kristin Walker, a freshman intervention specialist major from Lyndhurst.

Crandall Art Gallery is located within Cope Music Hall on the corner of Simpson Street and Union Avenue on Mount Union’s campus. The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-6 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.
