Annual Student Art Show and Reception to be Held in Crandall Art Gallery

Works by Mount Union College students will be on display during the Annual Student Art Show in Crandall Art Gallery March 13 through April 2.

The students, representing a number of major fields of study, designed the pieces displayed in the exhibit, which include drawings, paintings, photographs, prints and sculptures.

The student artists include Coleen Archer, a senior art major from Rockhill, South Carolina; Ryan Bowers, a sophomore from Beach City; Bishmi Bradshaw, a junior media computing major from Maybrook, New York; Steven Braidich, a junior media computing major from Newark; Meghan Brammer, a junior art major from Lisbon; Ryan Buckley, a junior media computing major from Willowick; Jenna Burdick, a junior art and physical education major from Willoughby; Theresa Callahan, a freshman early childhood education major from Lorain; Candace Cheuvront, a freshman from Minerva; Brian Corbin, a junior media computing major from Uniontown; Abbie Cronin, a junior business administration major from Salem; Sara DeJaneiro, a sophomore media computing major from Massillon; Steven Gillespie, a junior media computing major from Brecksville; Alyssa Hamilton, a freshman from East Canton; Brandi Hershey, a senior art and business administration major from West Salem; Barbara Jones, a sophomore from North Ridgeville; Ryan Keenan, a senior art major from Toronto; Allyson Komar, a sophomore media computing major from Brunswick; Kathleen Kovarik, a sophomore art major from Copley; Brittany Kugler, a junior art major from Alliance; Sarah Loudon, a senior art major from Salem; Sarah Mickley, a junior French and international business and economics major from Carrollton; Yosuke Nakano, a sophomore from Oaska, Japan; John Nelson, a junior art major from Akron; Jason Nussbaum, a junior business administration major from Apple Creek; Mary Jo Osterman, a junior art major from Euclid; Megan Pankuch, a senior art major from Bristolville; Andrew Smida, a freshman from Stafford Springs, Connecticut; Andrew Smith, a junior art major from Reynoldsburg; Alisha Steele, a junior business administration major from Beloit; Amy Stilgenbauer, a senior art and English ' writing major from Dover; Heather Stump, a freshman early childhood education major from Wadsworth; Heather Thomas, a senior art and Japanese major from Damascus; Jeremy Velliquette, a senior art major from Fremont; Nichole Wachunas, a sophomore art major from Massillon; Tetsutaro Wada, a junior art major from Kanagawa, Japan; Heather Walker, a junior art major from Mogadore; and Chase Williamson, a sophomore from Huron.

A reception will be held Thursday, March 15 from 5-7 p.m. in Crandall Art Gallery in honor of the students and their accomplishments.

Crandall Art Gallery is located within Cope Music Hall on the corner of Simpson Street and Union Avenue on Mount Union's campus. The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-6 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.
