Annual Student Art Show on Display in Crandall Art Gallery

Works by Mount Union College students will be on display during the Annual Student Art Show in Crandall Art Gallery from March 17 through April 3.
The students, representing a number of major fields of study, designed the pieces displayed in the exhibit, which include drawings, paintings, photographs, prints and sculptures.
The student artists include Andy Smith, a senior art major from Reynoldsburg; Nichole Hare, a sophomore art major from Massillon; Kelli Paugh, a sophomore art major from Barberton; Alyssa Hamilton, a sophomore art major from East Canton; Sarah Mickley, a senior art major from Carrollton; Kurtis Herchler, a freshman accounting major from Vermilion; Tia Smith, a sophomore art major from Ravenna; Ryan Bowers, a sophomore art major from Beach City; Barbie Jones, a junior psychology major from North Ridgeville; Lauren Dennis, a junior art major from Sagamore Hills; Kathe Kovarik, a senior art major from Copley; Joel Price, a junior from Aurora; Meghan Brammer, a senior art major from Lisbon; Andy McFarland, a senior Geology major from Strongsville; Masateru Konno, a junior from Japan; and Evan Tierney, a sophomore media computing major from Kent.
A reception will be held Tuesday, March 25 from 5-7 p.m. in Crandall Art Gallery in honor of the students and their accomplishments.
Crandall Art Gallery is located within Cope Music Hall on the corner of Simpson Street and Union Avenue on Mount Union's campus. The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-6 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.
