We would like to get to know you as well as possible through these application materials and believe that your thoughtful, well-constructed statement is an important step in the process. Your statement should be of sufficient length to demonstrate your writing ability to the Admission Committee and to do justice to the topic. As a general guideline, the length of your statement should be a minimum of 300 words.
