April CLP Speakers Announced

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The University of Mount Union will host four Continued Learning Programs (CLP) throughout the month of April.

CLP sessions are free and open to the public and feature a variety of presentations and current perspectives, as well as time for questions and discussion. The speakers are as follows:

April 5 – David Puterbaugh will present on “The Manhattan Project”

April 12 – Robert Lavery and Blaine Lewis will present on the “Glamorgan Lakes Beautification”

April 19 – Dean Reynolds will present on “Water Treatment: Not as easy as it sounds”

April 26 – Steve Baity who will present on “The Art of Fruit and Vegetable Sculpting”

All sessions will begin at 10 a.m. The April 5 and April 19 sessions will take place in the Newbold (East) Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center while the April 12 and April 26 sessions will take place in Campus Grounds of the Hoover-Price Campus Center. Attendees are welcome to stay for lunch in the Kresge Dining Commons – cost for “all you can eat” is $7. CLP sessions are planned by a committee which includes the Dillons, Murcochs, Priests and Slacks.
