ATEP becomes newest member of Iota Tau Alpha

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The University of Mount Union’s Athletic Training Education Program recently joined 60 other schools in the Iota Tau Alpha honorary as the Beta Phi Chapter.

The National Athletic Trainers’ Association recognizes Iota Tau Alpha as the National Honor Society for Athletic Training Education. There are approximately 350 accredited undergraduate programs in the United States.

Objectives of the honorary are to function as an honor and professional society for students of athletic training education (ATE); to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment and investigation in ATE; and to promote dissemination of information and new interpretations of the society’s activities among students of ATE.
