My favorite teacher is a person who hasn’t taught me in a traditional classroom. Morgan Bagley, athletic trainer and director of athletic training education at Mount Union, is not only my advisor and athletic trainer for basketball, but also has become one of the most important people in my life. She is always there for me no matter what and I would be lost without her.

Athletic Training Hands-On Learning
Students who choose to major in athletic training at the University of Mount Union have ample opportunities to get “real-world” experience outside of the classroom. Being involved in these experiential and clinical field opportunities, will strengthen students’ skills in prevention, diagnosis, immediate care and rehabilitation of athletic related injuries and illnesses.
Clinical experiences provide ATEP students the opportunity to work with patients of all ages in a variety of settings. Our clinical affiliations include:
- Mount Union’s varsity athletic teams
- Local high schools
- Local hospitals and medical centers
- Medical offices of local physicians
- Local EMS services
