My favorite teacher is a person who hasn’t taught me in a traditional classroom. Morgan Bagley, athletic trainer and director of athletic training education at Mount Union, is not only my advisor and athletic trainer for basketball, but also has become one of the most important people in my life. She is always there for me no matter what and I would be lost without her.

Athletic training graduates have found success working as athletic trainers for organizations including Syracuse University, University of West Virginia, East Carolina University, University of Arkansas, Ohio University, and Kent State University as well as public school districts and health care facilities across the country. Others have gone on to pursue careers as physical therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, and physician assistants.
Those pursuing graduate studies have attended institutions including University of Virginia, Delaware University, University of North Carolina, University of Arkansas, California University of Pennsylvania, University of Akron, Kent State University, Walsh University, and Columbus State University with a Hughston Foundation Grant.
The athletic training major is administered by the Department of Human Performance and Sport Business, which also offers programs in exercise science, health, physical education, public health and sport business.
