Becky Doak Named Executive Director of Career Services

doak-rebeccaBecky Doak has recently been named executive director of career services at Mount Union College.

Doak joined the staff at Mount Union in 2003 as director of career development.

“Becky is an achieved professional who works tirelessly to help our students find meaningful and pertinent careers and experiential opportunities,” said John Frazier, vice president for student affairs and dean of students. “Becky’s demonstrated success in helping Mount Union graduates reach their intended career goals puts her among the elite of career services directors.”

Doak earned a bachelor of science degree in education from the University of Findlay and a master of arts degree in education and counseling from Malone University. She is also a 2009 recipient of a Fulbright scholarship.

She is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Midwest ACE, National Career Development Association (NCDA), Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges Inc. (OFIC), American Marketing Association, OAAE and AAEE Educational Association, Northeast Ohio Association of School Personnel Administrators (NEOASPA), Northcoast Consortium for Career Advancement (NCCA) and American Psychological Association (APA).
