Behavioral Sciences Conference to be held April 25

The Mount Union College Chapter of Psi Chi will be hosting the eighth annual Interdisciplinary Conference for the Behavioral Sciences on Saturday, April 25 in Tolerton and Hood Hall. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the events will conclude with an awards presentation at 2 p.m. 

The undergraduate conference, sponsored by the Department of Psychology, will feature guest speaker Jill B. Becker, Ph. D. of the University of Michigan. The morning will feature sessions as well as presentations of original research by Mount Union students and students from colleges across the region.  Awards will be presented for the top three undergraduate presentations.

Becker will present on Sex, Drugs and Dopamine: the neural basis for sex difference in drug abuse in Room 100 at 1 p.m.
