Black Student Union Holds Annual End of Year Barbeque
April 28, 2004
The Mount Union College Black Student Union (BSU) hosted its annual "End of the Year Barbeque" on Sunday, April 25 at the Black Cultural Center.
The barbeque highlights all of the activities and efforts of the BSU.
"The barbeque is an opportunity for the BSU to say 'thank you' to all of the students, faculty and staff who contributed to the success of the organization," said LaTashia Reedus, director of multicultural student affairs for Mount Union.
While the BSU provided the main dishes, faculty and staff members were asked to bring a side dish or dessert to enhance the family style atmosphere of the event.
"This event has always been very well received by the campus community," said Reedus. "The event continues to serve as a reminder of the type of community that is ever present at Mount Union."
