I chose to attend Mount Union because of the small class sizes and the one-on-one attention students receive from professors. At the University, you aren’t just a number. Professors really care about you and your progress in and outside of the classroom. They also are really approachable and personable.

    Enjoy a full day exploring the trendy neighborhoods of Ohio City and Tremont. The fun begins on the motor coach - or, as food writers Jennifer Mastroianni and Saimi Bergmann call it, their cooking school on wheels - with tips, tastes, recipes, games and prizes. The first stop is the West Side Market (you are encouraged to bring your cooler!), a 103-year-old landmark packed with fresh foods and ingredients. Other stops include a Hungarian bakery, a German import store, a spice emporium, an award-winning brewpub, gift shop, rooftop patio and lunch at a stunning restaurant in a former bank building.     Alumni, parents, faculty/staff and students may take advantage of $6 discounted tickets to the Akron RubberDucks vs. Altoona Curve game. Add a food voucher for $5 more (includes hot dog, chips and beverage). It's Irish Heritage night at the ballpark with Irish delicacies, $1 fountain sodas, live music plus learn how to Irish dance. Seats are located in Section 20 on the third base side. A great family outing!
