    Washington Monthly has ranked the University of Mount Union among the top 100 liberal arts colleges and universities in the nation in its 2011 rankings.  Mount Union is ranked 98th among the 249 institutions that Washington Monthly included in the category.

  7. Student Gains Experience in the Nation’s Capital

    Summertime is one of the most competitive times of the year for the average college student. Some students are looking for leisurely jobs to earn extra money to aid their last semester’s strained bank accounts while other ambitious college students are on the scout for their first break into the real world. Marcus Williams, a senior finance major at the University of Mount Union, chose the latter of the two as he landed an internship in the nation’s capital.

    Mount Union’s M Club Hall of Fame will induct its 2011 class on Saturday, Septem­ber 24. The inductees will be recognized in a ceremony at noon at the Fred J. Haupt President’s House and during halftime of the Mount Union vs. Wilmington College game, which will kick off at 7 p.m.

This year, Mount Union was ranked in the top 10 among regional colleges in the Midwest, which includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
