Members of the U.S. Army War College (USAWC) spoke on national security issue topics during a panel discussion at the University of Mount Union on Wednesday evening.

The University of Mount Union Department of Music will present a student recital at 10:35 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3 in Presser Recital Hall.

ALLIANCE, Ohio — Dr. Gail O’Day, dean and professor of New Testament and preaching at Wake Forest University’s School of Divinity, presented the Joseph M. Carr Lecture at the University of Mount Union on March 29.

Sorority women at the University of Mount Union are members of four organizations that recognize a day shared across the nation known as International Badge Day each year.

A faculty woodwind concert will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 1 in Presser Recital Hall on the campus of the University of Mount Union.

Panelists for Wednesday’s U.S. Army War College presentation at the University of Mount Union have been selected. Panelists will speak at 6 p.m. in the Mount Union Theatre on national security issue topics including the U.S. role in Iraq and Afghanistan, the mounting nuclear threat in Iran and the U.S. role in world humanitarian efforts.

Guitar and jazz band ensembles will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 2 in Campus Grounds at the University of Mount Union’s Hoover Price Campus Center.

Dr. Kevin Meyer, assistant professor of psychology at the University Mount Union, presented Face Your Fears at the final LINC luncheon of the academic year on Tuesday.

ALLIANCE, Ohio – University of Mount Union professor Dr. Scott Gravlee will be the featured speaker at the Continued Learning Program session at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3 in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center on Mount Union’s campus. Gravlee, associate professor and chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the university, will speak on the topic, “Practice and Principles in Medical Ethics.”

The University of Mount Union’s Mu Phi Epsilon, a music honorary on campus, will present an April Fool’s Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 1, in Presser Recital Hall.

Members of the University of Mount Union’s service organization Alpha Phi Omega (APO) helped to enrich the lives of children during a recent spring break trip to Kissimmee, Fla. 

Dr. Kevin Meyer, assistant professor of psychology at the University of Mount Union, will be the featured LINC luncheon speaker at noon on Thursday, March 27 in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center on Mount Union’s campus. This presentation will conclude the LINC luncheon series for the academic year.

Members of the Univeristy of Mount Union’s EXPLORaider program (formerly the Multicultural Retreat) experienced multiculturalism in Puerto Rico during spring break in March.

Members of the U.S. Army War College through the Eisenhower Series College Program (ESCP) will address national and global issues at the University of Mount Union at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28 in the Mount Union Theatre.
