    Kathy Reichenberger to Present Faculty Recital

    Kathy Reichenberger, lecturer of piano at the University of Mount Union, will present a faculty lecture recital on Wednesday, January 25 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall. Her performance, What’s the Difference, is a brief comparison of the harpsichord and the piano.

    Scott Presents Tribute to Dr. MLK Jr.

    Barry Scott, an expert on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., presented the keynote address in honor of Dr. MLK Jr. Day on Thursday, January 12 at the University of Mount Union. Scott created his tribute to Dr. King to teach students about one of America’s most violent and inspiring times. During his address, he examined the life and works of Dr. King, a man who made an extraordinary impact on the civil rights movement and the world.

    The University of Mount Union is in need of volunteers for the National Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, January 16. The planned service projects in the Alliance area, which are being organized by the Mount Union’s Ralph and Mary Regula Center for Public Service and Civic Engagement, gives participants the opportunity to improve the lives of others while giving back to the community.

  14. Martin Joins MAEL Faculty at Mount Union

    Dr. Jennifer Martin of Redford, Michigan has been named assistant professor of education at the University of Mount Union. She will be teaching courses in Mount Union’s Master of Arts in Educational Leadership graduate program, which will begin in the fall of 2012 and be offered primarily online.
