Dr. William Cunion, associate professor of political science and associate dean for curriculum and student academic issues at the University of Mount Union, is one of 10 finalists inthe Washington Post’s America’s Next Great Pundit Contest.

As part of Mount Union’s Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2010 festivities, Fox’s Mad TV comedian Aries Spears will be performing on Saturday, October 23 at 8 p.m. in the Mount Union Theatre.

Pete Earley, author of the award winning book Crazy: A Father’s Search Through America’s Mental Health Madness, spoke at Mount Union recently about his son’s struggle and the current state treatment for the mentally ill.

Dr. Scott Gravlee, associate professor of philosophy and religious studies and chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the University of Mount Union, will present the faculty lecture on Thursday, October 21 at 7 p.m. in room 100 in Tolerton and Hood.

Dr. Santosh Saha, professor of history at the University of Mount Union, understands the importance of research and cultural experiences. He incorporates both into classroom teaching and feels that is beneficial and enlightening for students, no matter what course of study they are majoring in.
