  1. Students Raise More Than $48,000 for St. Jude
    February 28, 2011

    Nearly 300 University of Mount Union students spent their Friday evening at the Up ‘til Dawn finale event, taking part in numerous activities and celebrating the money they collectively raised for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Up 'til Dawn is a student-led, student-run, philanthropic program hosted by colleges and universities nationwide to raise funds specifically for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

  2. Mount Union Celebrates National Wear Purple Day

    The University of Mount Union celebrated its very own National Wear Purple Day on Saturday, February 26 at Westfield Belden Village Shopping Mall from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. in Canton, OH. More than 500 members of the community showed their support for Mount Union and all things purple by attending the event.

    Michalek Discusses Engineering Challenges at LINC

    Dr. Donna Michalek, chair of the Department of Engineering at the University of Mount Union, discussed “Engineering in the Future: Going Where No One Has Gone Before” on Tuesday, February 22 at the LINC Luncheon. Her presentation focused on past engineering achievements of the 20th century as well as the challenges that lie ahead.

  4. Host Families Needed for Japanese Students
    February 18, 2011

    A group of students from Hiroshima Jogakuin High School in Hiroshima, Japan will be visiting the University of Mount Union campus in the month of March. The Center for Global Education at Mount Union is currently seeking families to serve as host families for the students from March 22-31.

    2011 Sport Sales Workshop and Job Fair
    February 11, 2011
    The seventh annual Sport Sales Workshop and Job Fair was held on Friday, February 4 at the Quicken Loans Arena and Progressive Field in Cleveland, OH. The workshop and job fair, sponsored by the University of Mount Union, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Indians, provided more than 60 recent graduates, soon-to-be graduates and current college students with successful sales techniques and valuable insights from some of the most successful professionals in the sports industry.
