University of Mount Union’s Trumpet Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble will perform Tuesday, December 6 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

University of Mount Union’s Student Woodwind Quintet will perform Wednesday, December 7 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

The University of Mount Union’s Christmas Festival, Child of Light, will be held on Friday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Myers Sanctuary, located in Dewald Chapel on the University’s campus. The holiday event will feature performances from Mount Union’s Concert Choir and Women’s Choir.

The University of Mount Union’s Concert Band will present a holiday concert on Sunday, December 4 at 3 p.m. in Rodman Playhouse.

The University of Mount Union’s Repertory Strings will present a concert on Friday, December 2 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

Inspirational Voices of Praise (IVOP), University of Mount Union’s gospel choir, will present its annual advent concert on Saturday, December 3 at 6 p.m. in the Dewald Chapel, located on Mount Union’s campus.

The University of Mount Union’s Jazz Ensemble will present That Big Band Sound on Wednesday, November 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Campus Grounds of the Hoover-Price Campus Center.

Dr. Ronald Mendel, associate professor of human performance and sport business and director of the University of Mount Union’s Exercise Science Program, presented Fit or Fat? on Tuesday, November 22 at the LINC Luncheon. The luncheon was held in the Hoover-Price Campus Center on the University’s campus. 

Lindsey Goodman, a flutist and vocalist, will present a master class on Tuesday, November 29 at 10:35 a.m. in Presser Recital Hall on the University of Mount Union’s campus. Goodman also will perform a wide variety of musical selections with Robert Frankenberry, a pianist and vocalist, on Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

The University of Mount Union’s Guitar Ensemble, Trombone Ensemble and Horn Choir will perform a wide variety of musical selections on Monday, November 28 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

Dr. Niall Slater, professor of Latin and Greek at Emory University, presented the Slater Lecture on Thursday, November 17 in Presser Recital Hall on the University of Mount Union’s campus.

Students from the University of Mount Union came together on Wednesday to raise money for breast cancer research. Members of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity (ATO), Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity and the Black Student Union (BSU) raised money for the American Cancer Society during the second annual Stronger Men for Stronger Women event.

The University of Mount Union’s Department of Theatre will present Boy Gets Girl by Rebecca Gilman on November 17, 18 and 19 at 8 p.m. in the Rodman Playhouse on Mount Union’s campus.

Dr. Niall Slater, professor of Latin and Greek at Emory University, will present the Slater Lecture on Thursday, November 17 at 10:30 a.m. in Presser Recital Hall on the University of Mount Union’s campus. Slater will present Nero’s Cultural Politics.
