One of the more popular events of the weekend was the Alumni Luncheon, which was held on Saturday. The luncheon began with a grand entrance by the Class of 1951, the fiftieth reunion class. Class president Duke Barret presented Dr. John L. Ewing, Jr., president of the College, with the class gift of $1,114,398, while R.R. Denny Clunk, class representative, shared memories of life at Mount Union 50 years ago.

GREEKS PLAN EVENTS FOR ALUMNI WEEKEND

Five of Mount Union's present and former sororities will host Alumni Dinners for their visiting members and guests Friday evening. Alpha Chi Omega will host its dinner in the Alumni Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center at 6 p.m.; Alpha Delta Pi will hold its dinner at 6 p.m. at Taster's Choice Caf'; Alpha Xi Delta will hold a 6 p.m. reception and 7 p.m. dinner at the Alliance Woman's Club; Delta Delta Delta will hold a social hour at 5 p.m. with dinner being served at 6 p.m. at the Alliance Country Club; and Kappa Delta will join for dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the Private Dining Room of the Campus Center.
