Mount Union College will feature ceramic pieces by Angelica Pozo and Donna Webb from February 2 through March 3 in the Crandall Art Gallery. An Artists’ Reception will be held on Thursday, February 5 from 4-6 p.m.

Classical pianist Nino P. Cocchiarella will perform a solo concert on Wednesday, February 4 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall at Mount Union College.

A marketing proposal designed to encourage Alliance area residents to shop in Alliance and formulated by a team of Mount Union College students may be implemented in some form this year by the Retail/Service Division of the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Mount Union College Department of Music will present the Simple Gifts Duo of Linda Littleton and Karen Hirshon on Monday, January 26 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will be holding a Walk with a Naturalist on Sunday, January 25 at 2 p.m.

Mount Union College and the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to celebrate the football team’s 10th NCAA Division III National Championship with the “Raider Rally” Monday, January 26 at 6 p.m. at the Hoover-Price Campus Center in Alliance.

Mount Union College students, faculty, staff and community members gathered in the Solarium of the Hoover-Price Campus Center to honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and recognize those members of our campus and community who have worked to see his dream realized. Ron Ponder presented the address and is a radio personality at WHBC 1480 AM, owner of PonderSystems Media and Marketing and an independent television producer or programs for PBS affiliates, network affiliates, cable systems, corporate clients, television programs, commercials, documentaries, and the weekly program The ESPN2 Local Sports Break.

Students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to watch the Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States on Tuesday, January 20 at numerous locations around campus.

Dr. P. Eric Abercrumbie, director of ethnic programs and services and the African American Culture and Research Center at the University of Cincinnati, spoke at the Mount Union Theatre on Thursday, January 15.

Mount Union College will feature work by Matthew Tullis from January 12 through 30 in the Crandall Art Gallery. An Artist’s Gallery Talk will be held on January 29 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Mount Union Choir will present a Welcome Back Concert on Sunday, January 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.
