  2. International Miniature Book Exhibit on Display
    October 28, 2011

    Monumental Ideas in Miniature Books II, an international traveling exhibition of object books, will be on display in the Crandall Art Gallery on the University of Mount Union’s campus from Tuesday, November 1 through Friday, December 9. The curator of the exhibit is Hui-Chu Ying, professor of art at the University of Akron’s Myers School of Art.

  9. Faculty Members Recognized for Teaching Excellence

    Five faculty members from the University of Mount Union are recipients of the Excellence in Education Award sponsored by Ohio Magazine. Dr. Beth Canfield-Simbro, Dr. Jamie Capuzza, Professor Sandra Ekstrand, Dr. Ronald Mendel Dr. Peter Schneller, and will be formally recognized for their achievements and dedication to teaching in Ohio Magazine’s special section “Excellence in Education” in the magazine’s December issue. All five faculty members also have been the recipients of Mount Union’s Great Teacher Award.

  10. Up ’til Dawn Letter Writing Campaign

    University of Mount Union students will spend their Wednesday evening writing letters to family and friends asking for donations to help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital find new treatments for cancer, sickle cell disease and other catastrophic childhood diseases. The letter-writing event will be held from 4 – 10 p.m. in the Hoover Price Campus Center.

  12. Mount to Participate in EPA Game Day Challenge
    October 24, 2011

    The University of Mount Union will participate in the EPA Game Day Challenge during its last home football game on Saturday, November 5 against Baldwin-Wallace College at Mount Union Stadium, which is set to kick off at 1:30 p.m. The challenge is a friendly competition to encourage colleges and universities to focus on reducing waste, recycling and composting as much waste as possible.

  14. Mount Union Plans for New Building Projects

    A University of Mount Union fraternity and sorority are teaming up this month to scare away childhood cancer. Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) and Delta Sigma Tau (DST) will hold a “Haunted House on the Hill” on Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30 from 6-9 p.m. at the ATO House on Mount Union’s campus.
