My favorite teacher is a person who hasn’t taught me in a traditional classroom. Morgan Bagley, athletic trainer and director of athletic training education at Mount Union, is not only my advisor and athletic trainer for basketball, but also has become one of the most important people in my life. She is always there for me no matter what and I would be lost without her.

- International Miniature Book Exhibit on Display

Monumental Ideas in Miniature Books II, an international traveling exhibition of object books, will be on display in the Crandall Art Gallery on the University of Mount Union’s campus from Tuesday, November 1 through Friday, December 9. The curator of the exhibit is Hui-Chu Ying, professor of art at the University of Akron’s Myers School of Art.

Dr. Beth Canfield-Simbro, Dr. Jamie Capuzza, Professor Sandra Ekstrand, Dr. Ronald Mendel Dr. Peter Schneller, and will be formally recognized for their achievements and dedication to teaching in Ohio Magazine’s special section “Excellence in Education” in the magazine’s December issue. All five faculty members also have been the recipients of Mount Union’s Great Teacher Award.
