Carnation City Players Partnership

Carnation City Players (CCP) is dedicated to the advancement of the performing arts in Alliance and strives to provide entertainment and education in the theatre in addition to developing the talent of everyone involved in its productions. To date, more than 200 full-length plays and musicals along with countless shorter presentations have been offered around the Alliance area.

Over the course of the past few years, Mount Union has partnered with CCP on a number of endeavors. During the construction of the Giese Center for the Performing Arts, CCP’s Firehouse Theatre was the site of the Mount Union production of “Edges.” In addition, the theatre served as the rain location during the inaugural season of Shakespeare at the Castle and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. In addition, Mount Union students have gained invaluable experience at CCP, assisting with productions in many facets.
