Favorite Memories from College
One of my favorite memories from my time at Mount Union isn’t just a single moment, but the lasting friendships I formed there. I met some of my greatest friends—people who continue to be a big part of my life and who I truly consider lifelong friends. We shared so many experiences together, from late-night study sessions to weekend adventures, and those memories still mean so much to me. I also loved getting to experience full independence for the first time, learning who I was and who I wanted to be—all while being surrounded by a group of supportive, inspiring friends. It was a time of growth, laughter, and connection that I’ll always be thankful for.
A Career Serving Children
As a Student Services Specialist, I provide comprehensive support to students in various aspects of their academic journey. My responsibilities include assisting students with course registration, updating and maintaining student records, and guiding them through financial aid processes, including FAFSA completion and submission of satisfactory academic progress (SAP) appeals. I work closely with students to ensure they have access to the resources and information needed to succeed, while also collaborating with campus departments to support institutional goals and student retention. One of my main career goals is to become a full-time psychology professor. That’s actually what inspired me to pursue my master’s degree in science psychology. Right now, I am working on gaining valuable teaching experience by instructing our new student college success course, which allows me to develop my skills in the classroom while supporting students as they navigate their academic journey. My hope is to eventually establish a teaching role within the college where I can share my passion for psychology, help students explore the field, and continue contributing to their personal and academic growth.
