This will be the farewell concert for McLeod, who plans to retire from performing in concerts. McLeod sang in the Mount Union chorus during his years on campus and later worked as a choir director at numerous churches in San Francisco. He is now retired and resides in Alliance.
“I love the spirituals as sung in the concert style and I love the people who will be working with me while I do this recital,” McLeod said. “It’s a joyous thing and this is my farewell affair.”
This recital, sponsored by the Office of the Chaplain, is free and open to the public.
