Cenell Munford-Clark Directs Sister Steps Program

With the help of Cenell Munford-Clark, assistant athletic trainer and instructor of human performance and sport management at Mount Union College,Stark County African-American women are able to incorporate physical activity into their lives with a new program called Sister Steps.
'I can't say enough positive things about Sister Steps,' said Munford-Clark. 'The program gives African-American women the opportunity to celebrate being fit, healthy and well. I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful venue that touches the mind, body and spirit. These women are empowered to be responsible, come together and support one another.'
Munford-Clark earned a bachelor of science degree in sports medicine in 1993 and a master of science degree in exercise physiology from the University of Akron in 1995. She is an expert in the areas of health and wellness, injury prevention and rehabilitation and proper nutrition.Back to Previous Page
