MY EXCEPTIONAL STORY
It felt right when I visited, and there was a positive vibe from people that I couldn’t ignore.
A Small Campus
I mostly enjoy that small population size because it has allowed me to make close-knit relationships with many great, affable people. I honestly feel like I have a home away from home.
Reconnecting with People
My favorite place at Mount Union would have to be the Hoover-Price Campus Center (HPCC) because of the social atmosphere. You can find many people that you don’t always get to see on campus during classes.
I would take a visiting student to my residence hall. There are many great people in my building who love to meet new people, and we would be sure to give them a welcoming experience.
Mount Union Upgrades
Mount Union continues to upgrade and get better. It is diverse and is growing in awareness of all different kinds of situations and lifestyles. It allows you to work hard and continues to push you as a person to develop your character.
I chose psychology as my major because it truly captures me on a level other courses have not. I can honestly say I love to learn the subject matter being taught, and I would love to have a career in this field.
American National Government would have to be my favorite class. Dr. Jack DeSario, professor of political science and director of legal studies, did an astounding job testing my capabilities, and in the end I came out better than I did going in. The subject matter was challenging, but I like challenges, and Dr. DeSario did an awesome job of relating the material to real-life situations.
Professors Expanding Knowledge
Dr. Dan Wessel, lecturer of psychology, would have to be my favorite teacher. He has an understanding, patient, funny and down-to-earth personality, which is important for us students to have. He teaches the material in a way that allows you to think and expand your knowledge further. I am very appreciative to have him as a professor at Mount Union, and I recommend students to take his class at least one semester for a guaranteed good experience.
