Teaching Area(s): Civil Engineering

One of my research projects this past summer was looking at a greywater treatment system for a site in Costa Rica. The project has gone from a summer assignment to a course project for my environmental engineering class this semester.

Hands-On Learning

Hands-on, experiential learning opportunities allow engineering students to apply engineering principles learned in the classroom. These experiences are crucial in building the teamwork and communication skills needed to be a successful engineer.

Student Competitions
Engineering students at Mount Union participate in competitions against engineering students from other universities such as the SAE Baja competition.

Multiple Laboratory Components
The majority of Mount Union’s engineering courses have lab experiences incorporated into the curriculum, allowing students to get a real-world, hands-on engineering education.
