Class of 1958 50th Reunion to Be Held May 10-11

Mount Union College’s Class of 1958 will celebrate their 50th class reunion during Commencement Weekend, May 10-11, 2008.
The Class of 1958 will have a chance to relive their Commencement ceremony by marching in the processional march at this year’s Commencement.
“Over 50 alumni are coming back, including spouses,” said Anne Graffice, director of alumni and college activities and assistant to the President for special events. “We hope that this new time of year and the exciting events being planned will become a tradition for Mount Union 50th reunions in the future.”
Kicking off the events will be the Golden Anniversary Luncheon for the Class of 1958held at the Haupt Presidential Home, followed by a guided tour of the campus.
The day will conclude with an alumni buffet in the Campus Grounds of the HPCC at 5:30 p.m. Classes from 1953-1963 are invited to join the fun and catch up with classmates and friends. A DJ will be there playing favorites from the 1950s and 1960s. The cost is $10 per person (free of charge to the Class of 1958).
On Sunday, May 11 from 7 to 9:30 a.m., a continental breakfast will be provided in the Campus Grounds. Commencement brunch will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the Peterson Field House. At 1 p.m. lineup for Commencement processional march will begin. The Class of 1958 is encouraged to participate in the line march along with students, faculty and board members.

Following the ceremony, a reception will be held in the quad area under tents.
