Clean the MUC Recycling Sale on May 5-6 to Benefit Area United Way Agencies

Mount Union’s second annual move-out day benefit sale and recycling project, “Clean the MUC” will be held Wednesday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Alpha Tau Omega house on Mount Union’s campus. This annual sale was instituted to empower every student, staff and faculty member to address the issue of waste reduction/recycling, as well as serve the Alliance community.
Items such as clothing and accessories, appliances, electronics, furniture and other valuables will be available for purchase at the sale.
This sale is open to the public and all proceeds will benefit area United Way agencies. Any remaining items will be disbursed to Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity, Alliance Food Pantry, YMCA, Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter and the YWCA at the close of the sale.
The Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) house is located on the corner of College Street and Miller Avenue. Parking will be available on Union Avenue by the Mount Union Theatre.
