CLP Session to Feature Alan Harold

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Alan Harold, Stark County auditor, will be the speaker at the upcoming CLP session at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1 at the University of Mount Union.
Harold will discuss “Changes to the Homestead Law and the Stark County Auditor’s Office.”
Harold graduated from Louisville High School and started a career in banking as a teller at Citizens Savings while he was a student at Mount Union. He rose through the ranks, with a stop for graduate school at Ohio State and three years in St. Louis, MO, before becoming the Chief Financial Officer of Coon Restoration in Louisville. He held this position until taking office in March 2011.
Harold received a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in finance and real estate from The Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Mount Union.
Within the community, Harold serves as a long-time volunteer of United Way, is on the Executive Board and Finance Committee of Buckeye Council (Boy Scouts of America), is a pastoral care volunteer at Mercy Medical Center and is a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He is a graduate of Leadership Stark County and of Leadership Stark County’s Government Academy. He is married to Dr. Suzanne Harold and the couple has two children.
The next CLP session will feature Jean Heater on the Rocky Mountain Experience on April 8.
