CLP Sessions Scheduled for April

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Four Continued Learning Program (CLP) sessions are scheduled to take place at the University of Mount Union in April.
The first CLP session will be held April 7 and will feature Tom Pukys, president of the Alliance Area Development Foundation. Pukys will present, “Alliance: Primed for Success.” Pukys has been the president of Alliance Area Development Foundation since 2004 and serves as general manager of the Greater Alliance Development Corporation (GADC). He also serves as vice president of the Board of Directors for Alliance Children and Families, Inc., chair of the Board of Directors for Technology Accelerator Alliance (TA2) and chair of the Board of Directors for the Early Childhood Education Alliance, Inc.
Other speakers for the month include Don McDonald, director of the Local Emergency Planning Committee on April 14; Ken Babby, owner and CEO of the Akron Ducks baseball team on April 21 and Jared Shive of Stark Parks on April 28.
Sessions will take place at 10 a.m. each week in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center. The public is welcome to stay for lunch in the Kresge Dining Commons ($6.60) or B&B Café (a la carte) following the sessions.
