While taking Elementary Chinese, I had the opportunity to practice traditional Chinese calligraphy. This was my absolute favorite part of class because it shows that there is not only a difference in the way words are written (characters versus letters), but also a difference in the method of how the language is written.

Coffeehouse Series

This series is an opportunity for musicians and artists on campus to showcase their talents approximately every other Friday. Whether you play an instrument, sing, write short stories or poetry, are trying out your comedic chops or just want to watch others display their talents, drop by these events for tons of entertainment and coffeehouse refreshments.
