Constitution Expert to Speak at Mount Union College in Honor of Constitution Day

In honor of the federally-mandated Constitution Day, which was observed on September 17, Professor J. Dean Carro will be speaking at Mount Union College on October 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the Myers Sanctuary of Dewald Chapel.
Carro is professor of clinical education and Dean's Club professor of law at the University of Akron School of Law. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Akron where he now teaches courses including criminal law and trial advocacy.
Carro has been a member of such organizations as the American Bar Association, the American Arbitration Association and the Association of American Law Schools Committee on Clinical Education, and is considered an expert on the Constitution.
Carro's presentation is entitled "American Jury Trials and the Constitution."
