I chose to attend Mount Union because of the small class sizes and the one-on-one attention students receive from professors. At the University, you aren’t just a number. Professors really care about you and your progress in and outside of the classroom. They also are really approachable and personable.

MY EXCEPTIONAL STORY
One-on-one attention
I chose to attend Mount Union because of the small class sizes and the one-on-one attention students receive from professors. At the University, you aren’t just a number. Professors really care about you and your progress in and outside of the classroom. They also are really approachable and personable.
Financial aid
Financial aid had a huge impact on my decision of where to go to college. Without the generosity of Mount Union supporters, I don’t think I would be able to attend such a prestigious school.
Marketing
I chose to major in marketing because I’ve always been interested in learning why people purchase specific products.
TV commercials
My favorite hands-on experience in my major thus far has been choosing which TV commercials I liked the most during specific TV episodes. It made me realize what I look for in a product and the reasons why I chose these TV commercials were based on companies’ marketing strategies.
Buddhism
I’m only a freshman, but I would have to say that my favorite class this year is Film in Buddhism. It’s fascinating to learn about different religions from all over the world.
Favorite professor
My favorite professor is Joe Zelasko, lecturer of history. Even though his class was early in the morning, he always made it interesting and fun.
