MY EXCEPTIONAL STORY
A Home Away from Home
Mount Union does a really great job of making each student feel welcome and makes the adjustment process from high school to college as seamless as possible. It provides a lot of great extracurricular opportunities, which is unique for a school of this size.
My favorite class so far has been Business French because I want to work in the global sector and would like to live and work in France someday, so having the background of how business is conducted in France is very beneficial for me.
Dr. Grant Cook, who is the choral director at Mount Union, has taught his students to appreciate our lives and be thankful. He has also taught me that music has meaning in the world and can change people. He makes me want to be a better person and give more of myself to help change the world.
I choose French and international studies as my majors because they are both topics that I am very passionate about and they are relevant to the international career that I would like to have in the future.
My favorite place on campus is my sorority house, Alpha Xi Delta. It is where I get to see my sisters each week and it is a nice, quiet place to do homework.
