When I graduated from high school, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the medical field. I was interested in becoming a medical technologist, and heard that Mount Union had an outstanding medical technology program.
Credit For International Baccalaureate Program, Advanced Placement and College-Level Examination Program
The University of Mount Union recognizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) as a rigorous college preparatory program. Students generally will receive credit for the IB higher-level examinations passed with grades of 5, 6, or 7. Students who are IB Diploma holders may be considered for additional credit. In all cases course credit is awarded on the basis of departmental policy. The Registrar will place credit on the student’s academic record upon recommendation from the appropriate Department Chairs.
The University of Mount Union may award course credit for Advanced Placement Exams (AP Exams) and for College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams developed by the College Board. Credit awarded is based on the student meeting or exceeding a minimum score as established by departmental policy. Credit is placed on the student’s academic record by the Registrar upon receipt of official verification of test results from the College Board.
The following section – AP Test Information - documents the minimum score, the course earned and the credits awarded by the subject area for the AP tests.
