My advice to anyone considering my field is to be ready for an ever changing field because computer science is constantly evolving. Be prepared to change and adapt or you will be left behind on the latest versions of every computer technology.

Database Management
Supplement any field of study with one of our minor programs in the computing field, and take advantage of current and future innovations while developing skills through hands-on experience.
The Database Management Minor
- Provides a foundation in the theory and application of databases
- Valuable in the collection, analysis and management of data in many areas, including business, education, psychology and the physical sciences
The major in database management is administered by the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, which also offers programs in computer science, information systems and media computing (with the Department of Art) as well as minors in internet computing and web design.
