This data must be stored, organized and managed, and more importantly, protected and secured. So, it’s not surprising that the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that the demand for database administrators is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations through 2018.
To meet this growing need in our society, Mount Union has developed a minor in database management that provides a foundation in the theory and application of databases. You’ll be prepared to collect, analyze and manage data in many areas, including business, education, psychology and the physical sciences. This program, when combined with any number of majors, is extremely valuable and will enhance your ability to pursue a rewarding career.
