Department of Theatre to Present Bus Stop

The University of Mount Union’s Department of Theatre will present the comedy Bus Stop by William Inge on October 6, 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. in Rodman Playhouse.
Set in the middle of the night at a roadside diner in Kansas during a snowstorm, Bus Stop forces a group of bus passengers and diner patrons to spend time socializing and getting to know one another. Cherie, a bus passenger, fancies herself as a nightclub singer, and a young cowboy is determined to make her his wife. They take center stage in this romantic drama complemented by many other relationships made while being snowed in on a cold night at the diner.
Under the direction of Dr. Doug Hendel, professor of theatre, the cast includes:

Miranda Reeder, a freshman of Hinckley, Ohio as Elma Duckworth;

Katie Proch, a sophomore international studies and religious studies major of Canfield, Ohio as Grace Hoylard;

William Fahrnbach, a freshman Nashville, Tennessee as Will Masters;

Victoria Blankenship, a freshman of North Canton, Ohio as Cherie;
-
Jeff Looker, a sophomore communication major of Stow, Ohio as Dr. Gerald Lyman;
-
Jacob Ward, a freshman of Kensington, Ohio as Carl;
-
Brian Riggs, a senior religious studies major of Windham, Ohio as Virgil; and
-
Ty Frank, a freshman of Massillon, Ohio as Bo Decker.
