My grandparents are alumni of Mount Union and are still very active on campus. I grew up with the University, wearing Mount Union hoodies in elementary school and getting Raider gear every year for Christmas. I actually chose to attend Mount Union partially because my grandparents live nearby and the closeness of the campus community. I knew I would get more out of an education if I could have the type of one-on-one relationships with professors that Mount Union offers.

- And listened to a special presentation by Professor Clark on the "Industrial Revolution and the Impact of the Automobile Industry on the Culture of America: Its People, Its Commerce, and its Global Significance."
Also while in the Motor City, we had ample free time to explore:

- traveled just over the river to Windsor, Canada
- the home of Motown Records, Hitsville USA
