Dr. Jamie Capuzza to Present Faculty Lecture at Mount Union College

Dr. Jamie Capuzza, professor of communication and chair of the Department of Communication at Mount Union College will present the annual Faculty Lecture on Wednesday, February 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Tolerton and Hood Hall Room 100.

Capuzza's lecture is entitled 'Shakti: India's Women and the Paradox of Gender and Development.'
A faculty member since 1992, Capuzza earned a bachelor of arts degree from Mount Union College and both master of arts and doctoral degrees from The Ohio State University.
Most recently, she had the opportunity to be a Sponsored Travel and Research (STAR) grant recipient, where she was a seminar leader in Russia. Also, she received a Fulbright-Hayes Fellowship and traveled to India last summer to study the changing roles of women in contemporary India.
Each year a member of the Mount Union faculty is selected to give a special lecture relating interesting or important developments in his or her own field or exploring matters of general concern to the faculty.
