Dr. Keith Miller to Present on Germ Warfare

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Dr. Keith Miller ’08, assistant professor of biochemistry at the University of Mount Union, will speak at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 26 at Mount Union’s Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center.
Miller will discuss antibiotics, vaccines and environmental/health concerns. This presentation will cover how a vaccine works and address vaccine safety.
Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Mount Union and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in biochemistry and biophysics from the University of North Carolina. His research interests include biochemistry of the immune system and development of immunotherapies for cancer.
