Dr. Larry Brown of the Center on Hunger and Poverty to Speak at Convocation

Dr. Larry Brown, director of the Center on Hunger and Poverty at Brandeis University, will speak at Mount Union College's convocation on Thursday, September 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the Mount Union Theatre.

 

Brown, formerly on the faculty of the Harvard School of Public Health, is the author of several books, including 'Living Hungry in America,' He is a frequent guest on national television programs, such as the 'Today Show' and 'Nightline.' The Center on Hunger and Poverty promotes policies and activities that improve the lives of low-income children and families, including research and policy analysis and public education initiatives.

Convocation is free and open to the public.
