Dr. Martin Horning to Present Annual Faculty Lecture

Dr. Martin Horning, professor of economics at Mount Union College, will speak at the College's annual Faculty Lecture on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
The lecture entitled, "The Butterfly, the Wheel, and the Buddha: Confessions of a Macro Economist," will take place in Chapman Hall Room 202 at 8 p.m. A reception will follow at 9 p.m.
Each year a member of the Mount Union College faculty is selected to give a special lecture relating interesting or important developments in his or her own field or exploring matters of general concern to the faculty.
Horning received his bachelor's degree from Mount Union in 1971, his master's degree from Bowling Green State University in 1972 and his Ph.D from Rutgers University in 1979. He has been a member of the Mount Union faculty since 1979 and was the recipient of the College's Great Teacher Award in 1991.
The Faculty Lecture is free and open to the public.
