Required Courses

  • Introduction to Teaching Professions-Early Childhood and Intervention Specialist
  • The Foundations and Management of the Early Childhood Classroom
  • Early Childhood Mathematics Practices and Curriculum
  • Early Childhood Scientific and Social Studies Practices and Curriculum
  • Early Childhood Language Arts Practices and Curriculum*
  • Early Childhood Preclinical Practice: Professional Practices, Research, and Collaboration
  • Early Childhood Assessment and Literacy Practices*
  • Phonics, Process, and the Structures of Language Acquisition*

*12 hour reading requirement through Ohio Department of Education

Additional coursework is necessary for licensure.
